2009 PIGROAST RULES
The Hours of Pig Roast are from 10 AM to 3 PM. We do not expect you to be there before or after these times.
- There will be NO underage drinking. All students will have wristbands indicating that they are over 21 or under 21. You must check in at the designated registration table and present your ticket and valid State Issued ID to receive a wristband, if you do not receive a wristband you will be charged for one. Event Staff and the Park Rangers will be checking to ensure that no one with an underage wristband is consuming alcohol. Law enforcement personnel will be present. Any underage person caught drinking will be asked to leave and maybe subject to legal action being taken on them. There will be staff members patrolling the grounds and Park Rangers on hand. If you are causing problems, you will be cited.

EVERY CAR WILL HAVE A DESIGNATED DRIVER. Every car will be asked to designate a driver upon arrival and that person will be given a separate wristband. If the driver is seen with possession of alcohol by any of the Event Staff or Park Rangers, the <em>entire</em> carpool will be forced to leave. Event Staff will be checking cars as they leave the parking lot for designated drivers. <em>If your car does not have a designated driver, you will not be allowed to drive home.</em> There will be <strong>State Police Checkpoints</strong>on the road between Lake Raystown and Juniata College.&nbsp; If you plan on leaving your car over night please put a piece of paper with your name and cell phone number visibly on your dashboard. &nbsp;This will allow the rugby team to contact you the next day if you forget to pick up your car.
- There will be NO public urination on the premises. There are public restrooms available down the hill from the pavilion and there will be four portable toilets available. Failure to use the restrooms will result in a citation by Park Rangers. Please allow 5 to 10 minutes for waiting in lineto use the restroom, as there is always a long line. The bathrooms in the visitor center are off limits. The price of your ticket pays for clean bathrooms, why not use them.
- If you are over the age of 21, you are permitted to bring your own alcohol; please drink responsibly and save us and you unnecessary headaches and problems. Remember that if you allow underage people to drink alcohol that you purchased, YOU will be held SOLEY RESPONSIBLE for them.
- KEGS AND TENTS MUST BE REGISTERED WITH EVENT STAFF PRIOR TO THE EVENT. All kegs and tents will be assigned a distribution area of the field. Upon arrival and registration, you will be directed to your area that will be marked on the field. Event Staff and Rangers will have the list of responsible parties for the alcohol distribution in that area.
- Do not park on the grass alongside the road leading into Seven Points, there is plenty of parking available. If you do park on the grass, you will be asked to move your vehicle and/or receive a citation. There is plenty of parking further down the road that event staff will direct you to. You may leave your car and ride the bus home, but MUST remove your vehicle on Sunday, April 27. Any vehicles left in the park lot on Monday will be towed at the owner’s expense.
- Make sure that your trash makes it to the garbage cans. There will be garbage cans around as well as dumpsters. There is always a lot of trash so PLEASE do your part to help make this another successful year.
- Please be SAFE and RESPONSIBLE. Pig Roast is always a good time for the entire campus community and we would like to keep it that way. Please abide by these rules and cooperate with the Event Staff and the Park Rangers. Remember we are guests and there are families and children who use Seven Points, so please be respectful!
