Paintball is one of the fastest growing action sports in America. Paintball
actually had its beginnings in the 1970's, when a Midwestern cattle rancher
modified a standard paint cattle marker to shoot his other rancher buddies
with. Needless to say, his buddies began to get a bit irked by the situation,
and modified their own cattle markers in retaliation. And...voila! Paintball!
Normally you would need a paintball marker, paint, masks, hoppers, gun cleaners, etc.
However, with JC paintball we'll supply you with all these nessesities so you can start playing right away.
All you need is a small amount of cash and some free time on the weekends.
We wont' lie to you, paint balls CAN hurt! Depending on the range and type of
gun being used, paintballs can either sting or leave a small welt. Although paintballs can hurt,
the game is quite safe if a player observes all the rules.
Paintball is an expensive sport. One benefit of the JC paintball club is
that we can provide better rates for paintball and equipment because of our
size and wholesale status. Also, we are able to supply a limited amount of guns for those
who want to test the game first. However, the most expensive part of the game
is paying for balls. Unlike other sports, a constant investment is
required. On average you can expect to pay 10-15 dollars for a day of paintball.
You can play with JC paintball at one of our designated fields. We plan on
having a range of different playing fields to make things as interesting as
possible. We are currently in the processes of aquiring a large portion of property.
Also, there are plans to purchase a large net to cover a practice field on campus, for easy
access.
