Most of the students that receive PAR benefits live several blocks
to several miles away and travel this distance on a daily basis,
both to and from college. On this page you will find links to documents
and (.pdf) files that will help answer some of the questions you
may have about accessing files from home that are on the college
servers.
For example, you are working on a paper at college and save it on
your U: drive, but forget to place it on a zip disk or floppy disk
to take home with you. Most of us do not want to drive back to the
college, for some of us it is over an hour drive.

Tired of Outlook XP taking too long to load?
(While at college)
Here's the solution:
- Open Microsoft Outlook.
- Click on the {Tools} Menu.
- Now click on {Options}. If you can not see options, click on the down arrows.
- Next click on the {Other} tab.
- Now uncheck the box next to "Enable Instant Messaging in Microsoft Outlook."
Restart Outlook and notice the difference. (Thanks to Steve Brink
