WKVR has gone through many different phases of radio broadcasting throughout its years of existence. The station has had a rich and vibrant history throughout the years from its inception in the late 1950s through the heating pipes of the campus, to the transition to a broadcasting station as V103, to finally the less powerful WKVR.

For the past two years, we have been researching the history of the station. While some things are unclear, many things about the station has been revealed. In the space below, we will be listing the board members by year that we have found. We will also be posting direct quotes from past members to help you get a sense of the station's history.
